I like the rich colours that make up the palette of fall weddings. But the brown bridesmaid dresses, while so chic a year or two ago, will probably end up looking really dated in a decade. I mean, if a bride like it, then so be it. But I'm worried that in 10 (or more!) years, a brown bridesmaid dress will be like the powder blue tuxedo of the '70s.
Not that there's anything wrong with being trendy! My aunt and uncle had the guys in powder blue tuxes at their '70s wedding. And they laugh about it now. But some people lament their trendy choices in weddings. If a bride is the type to regret her trendy decisions, I think she should steer clear of brown bridesmaid dresses!
